This well constructed 30 round magazine for the SA80 is the A2 variant which is based on the Eugean Stoner magazine that should have been made to start with But the then boffins at Enfield all sat round a desk and seemed to think that they could press another 40,000 units before they had to replace the tooling there by saving them money !! but as time would tell was a waste of tax payers money and possibly soldiers lives as it was not able to stand up to the demands required by its users . This has now been replaced by the A3 variant which is made of Plastic ! This magazine will stand out from all others in time and prove to be a wise investment .
